Designed by Jose Maria Cañizares and opened in 2000 with the additional 9 holes added last year, Baviera Golf is a hidden "gem" located close to Caleta de Vélez, approximately 30 minutes from Málaga on the E15 Málaga - Motril motorway.
Baviera Golf is a flat course characterized by its wide greens with varied movements and the great variety of obstacles which require a big range of strokes and an ideal design for all levels of golf. The fairways are forgiving up to 80 to 90 metres wide. There are four lakes on the first nine holes. The signature hole is the 4th a par-5 of 500 metres where two lakes come into play, one with an expanse of water covering 15,000 square metres and the other protecting entry to the green.
