Course Summary: Par 72

Designed by Javier Arana and opened in 1965, this magnificent 18 hole, par 72 course is located on a gently rolling terrain, crossed by the river of the same name. The Río Real golf course takes players on a round in the midst of a large variety of trees, with pine and palm trees dominating up to the 4th hole near the Mediterranean Sea. Rio Real is basically a flat course sloping down to the sea. It is an easy walk and the course is always in superb condition.

Large trees offer plenty of shade and the fairways make several crossings of the Real River. If your tee shot goes off line, you normally have the opportunity to redeem yourself. Rio Real is a well established course and a favourite with the golfing fraternity. Easy to find off the N340/A7, close to the Costa del Sol hospital.
