Golf Torrequebrada opened in 1976 and is a firm and established favorite with the golfing fraternity. Designed by José Gancedo, Golf Torrequebrada is situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol, just a few minutes from the sea and Torrequebrada Casino/ Hotel.
Being an established course gives you the benefit of mature semi-tropical vegetation, with luscious fairways and mature greens. It is rich in natural hazards and tropical trees and the numerous lakes and strategically placed bunkers present an interesting challenge on most holes. The 1979 Spanish Open was held at Golf Torrequebrada which
tells you it is a challenging course for all levels, so the inexperienced golfer must keep it tight, and keep in the fairways. With wonderful views of the Mediterranean Golf Torrequebrada is a delight, but can be a tough walk so a buggy might be a good idea for those who could struggle.
